Senator Ted Cruz of Texas and Representative Francis Rooney of Florida introduced a joint resolution Thursday that proposed an amendment to the Constitution which would place term limits on members of the House and the Senate, a key reform which The Conservative Caucus has supported.
“For too long, members of Congress have abused their power and ignored the will of the American people. Term limits on members of Congress offer a solution to the brokenness we see in Washington, D.C.,” Cruz said in a press release.

The Conservative Caucus is a public policy organization, contributions to which are not tax deductible. The IRS has determined TCC to be a 501(c)(4) organization, exempt from Federal income tax. TCC can receive corporate donations.
