Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid's rules change, which allowed the Senate to confirm Obama's appointees without filibusters, has made confirmation votes the main course of Senate business. That has left Senate Democrates voting with Obama at least 96% of the time -- making them vulnerable at a time when the electorate is anti-Obama.
