“Taken in the days leading up to President Trump’s Oval Office address, the survey showed that 42 percent of voters said the issue of illegal immigration at the border constitutes a crisis,” The Washington Times reports.
The majority of Republicans believed the situation at the Southern border to be a crisis, as well as 37% of independent voters calling the situation a crisis or at least a problem. The majority of Democrat voters at least said the U.S. faced a problem at the border, but not many Dem voters believed it to be a crisis.
