After an incident in Philadelphia where a 27-year-old black man was shot by police officers after refusing to drop a knife while he “advanced towards” the officers, opportunistic rioters have sown chaos in the city.
“Police in Philadelphia are fully capable of restoring peace. The open question is whether the mayor and Larry Krasner, the former defense attorney-turned elected rogue prosecutor, will do their job and hold people accountable for their crimes,” James Carafano writes at the Daily Signal.
