President Trump has threatened a government shutdown if Congress fails to provide appropriate funding for a border wall, after increasing threats from illegal immigrants along the southern border. The Daily Wire’s Michael Knowles makes the case for a government shutdown over border wall funding. It may be just what Republicans, Trump, and the country need.
Knowles writes, “If the shutdown fails to secure border wall funding, Republicans will find themselves in no worse shape than they already can expect once Democrats take control of the House in January. If the shutdown succeeds to fund the wall, all the better.”
