Despite denial by open borders advocates, illegal aliens add to the crime problem in the United States. The stories below give some recent examples.
Montgomery County, Maryland, followed its usual sanctuary policy of ignoring ICE detainers and released a man charged with sexual abuse of a minor. However, the county’s attempt to keep the man in the United States was foiled when ICE found and arrested him

New York City also found its sanctuary policy to be unsuccessful when ICE arrested three illegal aliens that the city had put back on the streets.

Denver residents were not as fortunate as those of New York and Montgomery. An illegal alien arrested for assault and burglary was released despite an ICE detainer. He promptly attacked another woman, and was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon.
