House conservatives are demanding that appropriations bills, including the continuing resolution for the current fiscal year (through September 30, 2015), contain laguague to defund Obama's executive action amnesty for illegal aliens. However, the GOP leadership shows no signs of agreeing. They prefer to spare President Obama from having to veto an appropriation and shut down the government in order to protect his program for illegal aliens. They seem to have forgotten last week's elections, which showed popular opposition to amnesty.

The Conservative Caucus is a public policy organization, contributions to which are not tax deductible. The IRS has determined TCC to be a 501(c)(4) organization, exempt from Federal income tax. TCC can receive corporate donations.
