Nearly half of the GOP Senators joined with Democrats to pass a pro-amnesty bill to fund Homeland Security, but the bill did not pass the House. Democrats, however, claim that they have a private promise from Speaker Boehner that he will eventually push the bill through the House as well. The Freedom Caucus in the House is leading the fight against amnesty.

The Conservative Caucus is a public policy organization, contributions to which are not tax deductible. The IRS has determined TCC to be a 501(c)(4) organization, exempt from Federal income tax. TCC can receive corporate donations.
