Hans Von Spakovsky of the Daily Signal writes that although everyone agrees that Roger Stone has been, “accused and convicted of several serious crimes,” the length of his prison sentence is not justified, and Attorney General William Barr is well within his rights to recommend against it.
“Barr’s actions were necessitated by the initial unfair (and seemingly unjustified) recommendation of up to nine years in prison for a nonviolent, first-time offender.”
