In a video made by the conservative campus activism group, Campus Reform, students at George Mason University initially blamed President Trump for the shutdown, before learning that he had offered numerous compromises to Democrats in exchange for border wall funding.
Students said they were “pleasantly surprised,” even saying Speaker Nancy Pelosi should “have an open mind.”
