Some conservatives hope that the bill to raise the debt limit can be used as a vehicle for moving to a balanced budget. However, they do not have the support of the GOP leadership, and the Obama administration continues to demand a blank check for more spending.

The Conservative Caucus is a public policy organization, contributions to which are not tax deductible. The IRS has determined TCC to be a 501(c)(4) organization, exempt from Federal income tax. TCC can receive corporate donations.
